Job summary

Freeths is seeking a lawyer with 2–4 years’ PQE to join its national Data & Information team in the UK. The role focuses on data protection, privacy, cybersecurity and technology matters for a diverse client base across sectors.

You will work closely with the Head of Data & Information and colleagues on business-critical projects, with opportunities for career progression and client relationship management.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ PQE in a strong commercial, technology, data protection or privacy practice.
• Experience advising on data protection, privacy and technology matters.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on data protection and UK GDPR compliance.
• Work on data processing, data sharing and international data transfer arrangements.
• Handle cybersecurity and incident response matters.
• Provide guidance on AI governance and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with digital marketing, PECR compliance, SaaS and cloud agreements.
