Data, Systems and Exams Manager - Ealing

Are you an experienced data, systems or examinations professional looking for your next opportunity in education? A successful and highly regarded secondary school in Ealing is seeking a confident and organised Data, Systems and Exams Manager to join their team.

The Role

As Data, Systems and Exams Manager, you will take responsibility for the efficient leadership, development and management of school data, examinations, timetabling and cover systems. You will work closely with senior leaders and staff to ensure accurate, meaningful and timely data is available to support school improvement.

You will be responsible for analysing attainment and progress data, maintaining data systems, supporting target setting and projections, and managing systems including SIMS and SISRA. You will also have technical responsibility for the development and maintenance of the school timetable.

Exams & Cover

The Data, Systems and Exams Manager will act as the school's Exams Officer, ensuring that examinations are planned and administered effectively and in line with JCQ regulations. You will coordinate internal and external examinations, manage the exams team and oversee related administration.

The role will also involve leading the school cover system, managing the cover budget, producing analysis and liaising with external agencies regarding teaching, support and cover staff.

What We're Looking For

You will ideally have experience managing a Management Information System and working with data in a medium or large organisation. Experience within a school environment, knowledge of SIMS, examinations experience and strong data-analysis skills would be highly desirable.

You will be highly organised, analytical and confident working with colleagues at all levels. Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines are essential. Ideally you will be located in or able to travel to Ealing.
