Job Purpose / Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Data Clerk to join the Maintenance Team within the site Comm-Ops Directorate. Based at Hinkley Point C, you will be part of an expanding multidisciplinary team responsible for planning and executing maintenance on equipment required to build, commission, and operate Hinkley Point C Power Station. The role will primarily focus on data extraction and analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for populating the Asset Register and associated attributes within HPC's EAM tool.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the accuracy of the Asset Register in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Tool.
• Provide meaningful and legible descriptions for assets.
• Support the development of Equipment and Materials data to enable construction works.

The Person

We are seeking an experienced, technically competent data analyst willing to contribute their knowledge and skills to ensure all structures, systems, and components used to construct HPC are captured in the EAM tool Asset Register with their key attributes.

Maintenance Data Clerk, you will:

• Use Power BI and other tools to extract information from various data sources.
• Organize and transform information into comprehensible structures within Excel worksheets.
• Populate data load sheets for submission to the System Administrator for loading into the EAM tool.
• Monitor data quality and remove corrupt or inaccurate data.
• Communicate with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements.
• Create process documents for end users.
