Data & AI Strategy Manager

London (Hybrid) | Up to £110k + bonus + benefits

An opportunity for an experienced Data & AI Strategy Manager to join a leading consultancy, helping major organisations across sectors such as Transport, Energy, Utilities, Government, Defence, Retail, Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Financial Services unlock the value of their data.

This role suits someone with a strong consulting background, commercial mindset, and proven track record of delivering data-led transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end data and AI strategies aligned to business outcomes
• Shape and deliver large-scale data transformation programmes
• Assess and advise on data and AI maturity, governance, and capability
• Use emerging technologies to drive innovation and measurable value
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders across multiple sectors
• Develop and scale new offerings and go-to-market capabilities
• Support the growth of the team through leadership, mentoring and knowledge sharing

Required Experience:

• Strong consulting background with experience delivering complex programmes
• Expertise across data strategy, data management, or AI/ML approaches
• Proficient in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with data governance standards (e.g. DAMA-DMBoK, CMMI, DCAM)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strategic thinking with a clear ability to link data capabilities to business value
• Experience in business development, pre-sales and client engagement
• A passion for continuous learning and driving innovation
