This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering end-to-end strategy engagements at the cutting edge of Data and AI adoption. The successful candidate will focus on shaping business strategies and developing enterprise-grade Data and AI solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Strategist in designing and defining a target operational model aligned with the client's data as a product, federated operating model vision.
- Develop comprehensive team structures with clearly defined roles and responsibilities that balance immediate tactical needs with strategic architecture implementation.
- Establish governance frameworks, delivery cadence approach, and ways of working methodologies.
- Identify and document transition states from initial programme delivery to Business as Usual (BAU) operations where the platform and data will be delivered and managed as a product.
- Ensure the operating model aligns with the technical architecture and proposed layers of abstraction to support the federated operating model vision.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in operational model design within data platform or digital transformation contexts.
- Strong understanding of data operating model frameworks and implementation methodologies.
- Experience in defining team structures and organisational design for technical programmes.
- Demonstrated ability to balance tactical delivery needs with strategic architectural vision.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across technical and business domains.
- Strong facilitation and workshop leadership capabilities.
- Experience working within consortium or multi-partner delivery environments.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous experience with designing federated operating models alongside mesh-based data platform architectures.
- Knowledge of modern data platform architectures and operational models.
- Experience in transitioning from project delivery to BAU operations.
- Understanding of data product management principles.
- Change management experience in large-scale transformation programmes.
- Implementation experience following operational model design.

- Day rate: Up to £635
- IR35 status: Outside
- Location: Hybrid, with onsite work up to 2 days a week in London.
- Start date: Late May/early June.
