Severn Trent’s Comms team is seeking a Data Specialist to join the Executive Complaints Team for a 12‑month fixed-term contract. You’ll turn data from multiple systems into a central, accessible hub and deliver bite-sized visual updates for stakeholders up to STEC, supporting action across the business.
With SQL queries, Power BI dashboards, and high-quality datasets, you will identify patterns, priorities and risks, and communicate insights clearly to a wide audience.

With a new CEO with a huge focus on improving customer experience, we are building a brand-new team to focus on continuous improvement built from complaints, creating action to bring changes into the business to better serve our customers!
The Data Specialist is the heart of the Executive Complaints team and is essential in delivering insight to all other areas of the team, for them to digest and build from. Whether that’s taking learnings, assessing patters and trends or identifying priorities or risks.
As the Data Specialist, you’ll be using the data from multiple systems and creating a central hub for the information to be stored so it can be assessable and measurable. Whilst also creating bite sized, visual updates and snippets of actions and updates for all audiences all the way up to STEC.
This role will work Monday – Friday 37 hours at week, with flexibility on Office base location as long as it is within our Region, and you are happy to frequently travel to our Head Office in Coventry.
