Job summary

King's Service Centre in Newquay, Cornwall, UK, is seeking a Data Solutions Developer to design, build and implement secure integrations that connect our critical systems. You will work with senior developers, architects and data engineers to deliver scalable solutions in a fast-moving environment.

The role requires a degree and experience in integration and data development with a strong understanding of RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and data workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree
• Proven experience in integration development or data development
• Hands-on experience designing/building integrations with RESTful APIs/ETL tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles
• Experience delivering design documentation (HLD/LLD)
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Growth mindset and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement scalable, secure integrations.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Implement data integration, transformation, and loading for system connectivity.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and data inconsistencies.
• Create and maintain documentation for integration workflows and configurations.
• Adhere to best practices for code reuse, maintainability and performance.
• Utilise source control, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines to ensure quality delivery.
• Participate in code reviews and drive continuous improvement.
