Job summary

The Woodland Trust is seeking a Data Selections Lead to head the data selections team and deliver contact data from our CRM and email platform to support internal teams with communications and engagement.

The role entails guiding the team, leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365 and email tools, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimise supporter journeys in a hybrid setup with monthly Grantham office attendance.

Qualifications

  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM in data selections, fundraising, marketing, or supporter communications.
  • Knowledge of data protection principles and UK requirements.
  • Experience using CRM data to create, extract, manipulate and quality check contact selections.
  • Strong prioritisation skills and ability to manage a deadline-driven workload.
  • Experience leading a team and enabling staff to perform at their best.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Data Selections Lead to lead the data selections team to deliver contact data selections from our CRM database and email platform to support internal teams with communication and engagement activities.

The Role:
  • Leading a successful team providing support and guidance as needed, creating an environment where team members can develop and perform effectively.
  • Use Microsoft Dynamics 365, Customer Insight Journey apps (D365) and email platforms to create, extract and manage contact selections.
  • Investigate data, system and process issues, escalating appropriately and implement solutions.
  • Analyse and report on contacts communication history, measuring data selection team workflows.
  • Support the Supporter Journey Manager, audience owners and communication managers to understand organisational objectives using insight and best practice to identify best contacts for each.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build and optimise supporter journeys.
  • This is a hybrid position with a mix of home working and from our head office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Head office attendance would be required once a month on average.
The Candidate:
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (or similar system) in data selections, fundraising, marketing or supporter communications environment.
  • Knowledge of data protections principles and relevant UK requirements.
  • Experience using CRM data to create, extract, manipulate and quality check contact selections.
  • Strong prioritisation skills with the ability to effectively manage a deadline-driven workload.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office with strong skills and ability using Excel.
  • Experience leading and managing a team supporting them to achieve the best.
  • Strong adaptation skills with the ability to work in a changing environment.
  • Experience investigating data, system and process to make recommendations and implementing improvements.
