Job summary

FSP is seeking a Data Security Engineer to join the Cyber Engineering team, delivering Microsoft-aligned security consultancy across Purview, Defender for Cloud Apps and related tools. You will assess security posture, identify gaps and craft remediation plans aligned to client objectives.

Responsibilities include governance of data protection controls, delivering gap analyses and pursuing service innovation, with emphasis on Microsoft 365, endpoints and SaaS environments.

Qualifications

• Experience as a consultant with Microsoft data security, Purview, DLP and SaaS governance.
• Ability to assess security posture and identify control gaps across Microsoft 365, endpoint and SaaS.
• Strong communication to translate risks and recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience supporting consultancy delivery, requirements gathering and pre-sales activity.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern secure, practical data protection controls.
• Provide guidance on Microsoft security capabilities including Purview and Defender for Cloud Apps.
• Deliver security gap analyses and maturity assessments across Microsoft 365, endpoint and SaaS.
• Design secure, scalable solutions aligned to customer needs and translate business objectives into security outcomes.
• Perform security assessments and maturity reviews to deliver remediation roadmaps.
• Contribute to Cyber Engineering service growth and customer deliverables.
• Maintain expertise on emerging threats and Microsoft security capabilities.
• Share knowledge to shape repeatable Microsoft security offerings.
