Job summary

C3 AI in London seeks an experienced AI engineer to lead the development and deployment of enterprise AI solutions on the C3 AI Suite. You will drive research-powered features, work with data scientists and customers, and shape analytics for digital transformation.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in CS, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, or related field.
• Applied AI experience including generative AI, agentic solutions, regression and classification, supervised learning, and unsupervised learning.
• Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics.
• Experience with scalable machine learning, including MapReduce and streaming.
• Ability to drive a project and work both independently and in a team.
• Smart, motivated, with a can-do attitude and a desire to make a difference.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred: experience with JavaScript and prototyping languages such as Python and R.
• Preferred: experience with Java and Scala.
• Preferred: a portfolio of projects such as GitHub or papers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the research, design, implementation, and deployment of machine learning algorithms, intelligent agents, and optimization solutions for enterprise applications leveraging the C3 AI Suite.
• Assist and enable our customers to build their own applications on the C3 AI Suite.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new features of the C3 AI Suite.
• Analyse model performance across asset fleets, diagnose issues such as low risk scores or false positives, and recommend hyperparameter adjustments.
• Collaborate with data and subject matter experts from our team and customer teams to seek, understand, validate, interpret, and correctly use new data elements.
• Work directly with data scientists, software engineers, and subject matter experts to define new analytics capabilities for customer decision-making and digital transformation.
