The Labour Party is seeking a Data Scientist to conduct polling, advanced modelling and voter targeting to inform Labour’s political and organisational strategies. The post-holder will analyse public opinion, voting behaviour and campaign performance.

The role is a 1-year fixed-term contract based at Head Office in London, with a four-days-per-week office pattern and Friday homeworking possible; flexible or other locations considered if suitable.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of statistical modelling at degree level or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of polling methodology and using polling to answer political questions.
• Experience analysing political data and polling; producing reports, visuals and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Ability to translate data on voters, campaigns and elections into strategic decisions.
