Job summary

Sagacity is seeking a Data Scientist within the Analytics Team to contribute to data-driven strategies for clients. You will work with the Data & Analytics Manager and senior colleagues to deliver data science projects and collaborate with stakeholders across data strategy, sales, account management, delivery and marketing.

You will bring solid technical skills and commercial awareness to translate data into actionable insights, deliver high-quality outcomes, and help enhance Sagacity's data

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in data science, analytics, or statistical modelling.
• Degree in a quantitative field (degree level; postgraduate preferred).
• Proficient in Python and/or R, with strong SQL skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau/Plotly/Sigma).
• Experience applying ML methods such as regression, clustering, and NLP.
• Commercial awareness and ability to translate analyses into business insights.

Responsibilities

• Deliver data science projects from problem definition to insights and presentation.
• Develop and apply predictive modelling to optimise client outcomes.
• Build and maintain data pipelines ensuring data quality across sources.
• Translate analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for clients and teams.
• Support pre-sales and client engagement, demonstrating value of data insights.
• Collaborate across analytics, marketing, sales, and delivery teams.
• Follow best practices in data science and ethical AI.
• Travel to client engagements across the UK.
