Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to support exploratory analysis, ML and AI initiatives within a growing R&D team. The role suits a top graduate with relevant internships or an early-career data scientist with up to two years of experience.

Working model is hybrid with two days per week in London. Tech stack includes Python, SQL, Databricks, ML, NLP and Power BI. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates are outstanding graduates with relevant internships or projects.
• Early-career DS with up to 2 years of commercial experience considered.
• Strong project work in analytics, NLP or ML preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct EDA, data profiling and analytical investigations.
• Build analyses and datasets using Python and SQL.
• Support development of machine learning models and evaluation frameworks.
• Contribute to NLP, document analysis and information extraction projects.
• Create visualisations and insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support data quality, metrics and analytical best practices.
• Work closely with Data Scientists, Engineers and AI specialists.
