Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Data Scientist II, Hotel Enterprise Partnerships Analytics within the Supply and Marketplace Analytics team. You will work with large datasets, analytics products, and cross-functional partners to explain performance, identify opportunities, and create recommendations that help Expedia Group and its partners grow.

You will have the opportunity to build scalable reporting and insight solutions while developing expertise in a global travel marketplace.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in analytics or data science.
• Proficient in SQL and Python, R, or similar languages to analyze large datasets.
• Experience using AI to speed up delivery and enhance analyses.
• Ability to explain analytical methods and recommendations clearly to varied audiences.
• Experience combining data from multiple sources and building reusable code.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders up to Senior Manager level.

Responsibilities

• Frame business questions as analytical problems and design practical tasks.
• Analyze data from multiple sources and build reliable datasets and basic pipelines.
• Develop data-driven insights and recommendations to support hotel partner discussions and decisions.
• Apply descriptive statistics, regression, experimentation, and causal analysis where appropriate.
• Create visualizations, dashboards, and executive summaries for stakeholders.
• Leverage AI productivity tools to enhance depth and trust in analyses.
• Collaborate with analytics, product, data, engineering, and commercial teams and share knowledge.
