Job summary

McKinsey in London seeks a data/ML professional to collaborate with clients and interdisciplinary teams on advanced analytics, ML models, and AI solutions that drive measurable business value. You will contribute to R&D, internal tools, and knowledge-sharing across global projects.

You will work with Data Scientists and Engineers, translating business challenges into analytical problems while deploying scalable solutions and communicating results effectively to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in CS/ML/Applied Stats/Engineering or related fields.
• 2+ years applying ML and data mining to large datasets.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; familiarity with big data tools is a plus.
• Strong ML knowledge and ability to translate insights into solutions.
• Experience deploying ML/AI into production environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of PySpark, Databricks, Airflow, and cloud platforms is valued.
• Familiarity with GenAI and agentic systems is a plus.
• Excellent time management and strong communication in English.
