Job summary

Spotify is seeking a Data Scientist in London to join the Business Analytics team. You will use data analysis, experimentation, and modeling to identify opportunities, assess health, and translate insights into recommendations for senior leadership.

You will help shape growth of active users and the Premium product, collaborating with product and business teams in a fast-paced environment, with hybrid work options and global impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in data science or analytics, ideally at a consumer tech company or top-tier consulting firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Fluent in SQL and Python or R, with strong grasp of statistical methods and causal inference.

Responsibilities

• Develop data-driven strategies to support growth of active users and subscribers.
• Create and communicate impactful findings and recommendations for Premium product.
• Model and forecast impact of new business initiatives.
• Collaborate with business partners to identify opportunities for growth.
• Analyze experiments (A/B tests) to measure impact of new features and go-to-market initiatives.
• Present findings to senior leaders to influence business decisions.
