BRUSH Group is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Group IT Data & AI team. You will transform data into clear, trusted insights, design and deploy BI, analytics, ML models and AI-driven solutions across the business.

The role combines statistics, data science and business acumen. You’ll own use cases end-to-end, from problem framing to deployment, monitoring and value demonstration, shaping data science standards across the group.

Qualifications

• Degree in Data Science or related numerate discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of continued professional development in BI, data science, analytics, ML, AI.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and ML principles.
• Experience turning business challenges into robust analytics approaches.

Responsibilities

• Translate business challenges into BI, analytics, statistical and ML solutions.
• Identify patterns and opportunities within complex data to support decisions.
• Develop, validate and deploy predictive and forecasting models delivering measurable value.
• Maintain governed, trusted datasets for BI and data science use cases.
• Ensure data quality, lineage and governance across the analytics lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to align pipelines with reporting and modelling needs.
• Contribute to data model design to support analytics and ML.
• Prepare, cleanse and feature engineer data for analytics and AI use cases.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through advanced analytics and AI.
