Job summary

Zurich is seeking a Data Scientist to join its data science team in London, with hybrid working options across London, Fareham or Swindon. You will design core data systems, support data-led decisions, and apply AI/ML techniques in a commercial insurance context.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and modern software development practices within a team (Git).
• Experience with SQL and large datasets using distributed computing (e.g. Spark).
• Experience with LLMs to deliver value in a commercial organisation; manage LLM-based apps.

Responsibilities

• Drive data-led decision-making with stakeholders using data & AI.
• Apply AI/ML techniques to reduce manual work and interpret unstructured data.
• Promote good data & AI practices and ensure code quality and PR reviews.
