Job summary

The Office for National Statistics is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our multidisciplinary team across the UK, operating under a flexible hybrid model with office and remote work. You will analyse diverse datasets, apply statistical methods and machine learning, visualise results, and deliver insights that inform policy, statistics, and public service decisions.

Job description

Location: The locations for this role are Titchfield (Fareham) and Newport. We operate a flexible hybrid working model across the UK, with colleagues linked to one of our contractual locations and working between office and remote throughout the week. As part of the hybrid working arrangement there is a 40% minimum office attendance requirement.
