Job summary

Frazer-Nash is seeking a Data Science and Software Graduate Engineer to join our Digital stream. You will work across Data Science and Engineering Software teams, tackling data governance, analytics, forecasting and software design across diverse markets including defence and energy.

You will receive structured training, mentoring and coaching to become a well-rounded consultant, with opportunities to gain professional accreditation and chartership as you progress in a collaborative,

Qualifications

• Must have a 2:1 degree or higher in a related Engineering, Computer Science, Maths or Physical Sciences field.
• Candidates will undergo pre-employment screening and UK National Security Vetting clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work in Data Science teams covering data governance, analytics, forecasting and decision making.
• Join Engineering Software teams covering software design life cycle from requirements to testing.
• Deliver engineering solutions through data and software across defence, energy, transport and government markets.
• Receive training, mentoring and coaching towards professional accreditation and chartership.

The role

This is a Data Science and Software Graduate Engineer role within our Digital stream at Frazer-Nash. As a graduate you could be joining one of our Data Science teams, which cover the full data life cycle from data governance, though analytics, forecasting to decision making or one of our Engineering Software teams, which cover the full software design life cycle from requirements and specification through design and implement to testing. Our teams deliver engineering solutions through system architecture, modelling, custom software and strategic advice across all our markets, including defence, energy, transport, government and others.

The role is looking for enthusiastic, open and curious minded people, who enjoy to problem solve. We are looking to create digital professionals who, like us, are committed to finding real-world solutions and delivering projects for our clients.

Those selected will receive training, mentoring and coaching to support their development into becoming well-rounded consultants and will be supported to achieve professional accreditations including chartership.

You will need to have obtained a 2:1 Degree or higher (or equivalent/experience) with a related Engineering, Computer Science, Maths or Physical Sciences bias.

Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and will be required to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
