Job summary

Monzo is seeking a Data Intern to join our London office on a hybrid basis for a 12-week summer internship. You will work with a data team on real projects for customers, using Python for data wrangling and building predictive solutions, and SQL for data modelling.

We value STEM/CS students graduating in 2028 with a passion for problem-solving and a strong interest in learning. The internship runs June–September 2027 with flexible hours and a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM or Computer Science with programming exposure.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and willingness to learn.
• Available full-time for 12 weeks between June and September 2027.
• Right to work in the UK for the full duration without visa sponsorship.
• Hybrid work from the London office.

Responsibilities

• Learn about commercial products and how data decisions unlock value.
• Experiment with new data techniques to solve challenges.
• Turn raw data into customer stories through models, analysis and visualisations.
• Understand data nuances and build foundational knowledge for new products.
