Job summary

Monzo in London is offering a Data Intern role in Data & AI. You’ll work on real projects for customers, learning how data informs product design and how models and visualisations shape our app. The role includes a hybrid London office with two days in the office.

You’ll use Python for data wrangling, SQL for data modelling and Looker for visuals. The internship runs 12 weeks in summer 2027, with a pro rata salary of £42,500 per year.

Qualifications

• You are completing a degree in STEM or Computer Science with exposure to programming and graduate in 2028.
• You have right to work in the UK for the full 12-week internship and can work from the London office on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities

• Learn about commercial products and how data-driven decisions unlock value.
• Experiment with data techniques to solve challenging problems.
• Turn raw data into customer stories through models, analysis and visualisations that shape our product and app design.
• Collaborate with data teams to learn how data is used in day-to-day decisions.
