Job summary

Hudson River Trading invites a select group of full-time student interns to join the Data Science Summer Internship program in the UK. You will tackle hands-on data, modeling, and engineering tasks using Python, pandas, and polars to extract insights for research and trading.

You will normalize vendor data, validate datasets, and contribute to feature extraction with mentorship. Housing, meals, and other perks accompany the weekly compensation as part of a vibrant intern culture.

Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing a STEM degree; computer science background not required.
• Python for Data Analysis experience preferred.
• Curiosity for working with data and deriving insights.
• Independent data projects or Kaggle experience is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on independent data investigation projects using Python with pandas and polars.
• Normalize and validate vendor data and extract meaningful features.
• Apply quality checks and explore methodologies for high-quality data.
• Participate in technical projects with mentorship and learn trading infrastructure.
