Job summary

Accenture Song in London/UK seeks a Data Science Associate Manager to lead customer-focused analytics and AI delivery. You will balance hands-on modelling with workstream leadership, guiding data scientists and AI engineers while ensuring quality and impact.

You will work across customer insights, segmentation and growth initiatives, translating complex results for senior stakeholders and clients. A hybrid London/UK location with strong exp erience in modern ML and governance is ideal.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data science and AI delivery in customer environments with measurable value.
• Strong Python capability to write production-quality code and review others.
• Solid understanding of analytics, statistics, experimentation and ML deployment.
• Experience with generative AI architectures, retrieval-augmented generation and prompts.
• Knowledge of data prep, testing, deployment, monitoring and MLOps.
• Ability to explain findings and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Awareness of fairness, privacy, explainability and governance in AI.
• Experience leading a technical workstream and coaching teammates.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver customer analytics, data science and AI solutions across the lifecycle.
• Make technical decisions on workstreams including model, architecture and evaluation.
• Apply segmentation, propensity, churn and action modelling to improve decisions.
• Write and review production-quality code, prompts and data pipelines.
• Ensure robust data preparation, experimentation, validation and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and architecture to productionise prototypes.
• Lead daily technical delivery, manage risks and coach team members.
• Communicate findings and trade-offs to stakeholders, linking to business value.
• Contribute to proposals, reusable assets and best practices.
