Job summary

QA Limited in the United Kingdom seeks a Data Science and AI Trainer to deliver government-focused training. This home-based role requires occasional delivery from QA centres and client sites and eligibility for Security Clearance (SC).

You will design and deliver GenAI, Python, and NumPy-based coursework, stay current with AI frameworks and cloud platforms, and contribute to course development and learner outcomes.

About The Role

Data Science and AI Trainer (Government)

Home Based -Virtual delivery with requirement to deliver from QA centres and client sites

This position requires the successful candidate to obtain SC (Security Clearance)

Your role:

As an expert in your field, you will deliver QAand vendor specific innovative, high-quality training in Data Science, GenAI,and Python to a wide range of clients. You will empower learners to apply theirknowledge effectively in real-world scenarios. You’ll maintain highsatisfaction scores, contribute as a subject matter expert, and collaborateacross teams to support shared goals and continuous improvement.

In addition to training delivery, you’ll play akey role in shaping the future of learning by contributing insights to thedesign and development of cutting-edge courses. With strong technical expertisein GenAI, machine learning, Python, and the NumPy ecosystem, and desirableexperience in AI frameworks and cloud platforms, you’ll stay at the forefrontof industry trends through ongoing professional development and a passion foreducation

Role Responsibilities:

• Training Delivery: Deliver high quality and engaging trainingin line withpolices, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Training Design and Development: Design and create engaging courseware that aligns to our clientrequirements, quality standards and provides demonstrable impact back in thelearners’ workplace.
• Performance & Quality Metrics: Attain a consistent Trainer Satisfaction Score (TSAT) of 88%+ andachieve ‘Meeting Expectations’ in trainer observations, utilise feedback to improve performance and effectiveness of training, conduct peer observationsproviding constructive feedback.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Act as an SME utilising your in-depth knowledge to contribute insightsto internal discussions, client programmes and collaborate cross functionally
• Communication: Collaborate effectively across teams, maintaining professionalproactive communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Contribution: Supportteam objectives and initiatives, demonstrate accountability and reliabilityshowing flexibility to adapt to priorities
• Continuous Professional Development: Proactively maintain industry recognised certifications, engage incontinued learning to stay up to date with industry trends, emerging tech andbest practices

Your Experience:

• Excellent presentation, facilitation, andcoaching skills to effectively deliver complex technical content in an engagingand interactive manner virtually and/or in-person
• Ability to connect with diverse audiencesincluding technical and non-technical professionals

Training Design and Development

• Proven ability to design and develop engaging,learner-centric courseware tailored to diverse audiences and delivery formats(virtual and in-person).
• Skilled in translating complex technicalconcepts into accessible, structured learning experiences that drive real-worldapplication and impact.
• Experience in applying instructional designprinciples and adult learning theory to create interactive, outcome-focusedtraining materials.
• Ability to collaborate with subject matterexperts and stakeholders to ensure course content meets client requirements,industry standards, and regulatory expectations.

Skills and Technical Proficiency

• Strong knowledge of GenAI concepts, applicationsand prompt engineering
• Proficient in GenAI concepts, machine learningtechniques, and Python programming, with strong familiarity with the NumPyecosystem.

Industry Knowledge & Experience

• Desirable hands-on experience with leading AIframeworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP,Azure)
• Experience working with AI/ML engineers, datascientists, and other data professionals

Wider Requirements

• Passion for education, technology, andempowering others through knowledge sharing

Qualifications:

• Desirable degree in Mathematics or related field
• Desirable MSc/PhD in Data Science, AI, ComputerScience, or relevant certifications
• Desirable relevant cloud vendor (GCP, AWS,Azure) certifications
