Job summary

Circom Limited in Coventry is seeking a Data & Reporting Specialist / BI Analyst to own reporting processes, manage customer and supplier data, and drive data automation initiatives.

You will collaborate with Customer Care, Finance, Operations, and Development teams, using Microsoft Dynamics as the core platform. Hybrid work after training, minimum 3 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a data-focused role.
• Experience with large operational, financial, or environmental data.
• Experience producing management information and reporting packs.
• Invoicing and customer reporting understanding.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Power Query and data modelling.
• Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics ERP/CRM.
• Bachelors degree preferred; English proficiency and UK work authorisation required.

Responsibilities

• Own operational, customer, supplier, and waste data.
• Clean, validate, structure and maintain large datasets from multiple sources.
• Investigate data discrepancies and reporting anomalies.
• Ensure accurate data in Microsoft Dynamics for reporting.
• Develop data validation procedures and quality controls.
• Produce monthly customer reporting and management information.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and tools.
• Support monthly invoicing with complete data.
• Deliver insights from datasets and automate data cleansing where possible.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a data-focused role.
• Previous experience in environments involving significant volumes of operational, financial, supply chain, or environmental data.
• Experience preparing management information and reporting packs.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of invoicing and customer reporting processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, complex formulas, data modelling, data validation, and cleansing.
• Experience using Power BI.
• Strong understanding of databases and data structures.
• Experience working with ERP or CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics.
• Proficiency in data cleansing, transformation, and reporting processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Organised and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Qualifications or certifications in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Microsoft Power Platform, Excel, Power BI, or related disciplines preferred.
• Experience working with APIs and system integrations preferred.
• Experience within the waste management, recycling, environmental, logistics, or facilities management sectors preferred.
• Understanding of automation platforms and AI-assisted data tools preferred.

• Take ownership of existing operational, customer, supplier, and waste management data.
• Clean, validate, structure, and maintain large datasets from multiple sources.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and reporting anomalies.
• Ensure data entered into Microsoft Dynamics is accurate, complete, and fit for reporting purposes.
• Develop data validation procedures and quality assurance controls.
• Produce accurate monthly customer reporting and management information.
• Generate environmental and financial reports for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools.
• Support the monthly invoicing process by ensuring underlying data is complete and accurate.
• Deliver actionable insights from operational and commercial datasets.
• Oversee the continuous development of our mobile application.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive data cleansing, validation, and reporting activities.
• Explore and implement AI-assisted tools and modern technologies to improve data accuracy and efficiency.
• Work with supply chain partners to streamline complex data mapping and integration requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data workflows across the business.
• Develop a detailed understanding of our reporting architecture and data flows.
• Collaborate with Directors, Account Managers, Finance, and Operations teams to improve reporting processes.
• Work alongside Microsoft Dynamics developers to enhance system functionality and reporting accuracy.
• Progress from operational support to full ownership of key reporting and data management processes within six months.
• Support reporting requirements relating to waste and recycling legislation.
• Produce accurate submissions and reporting data where required by regulatory authorities, including the Environment Agency.
• Assist in the maintenance and development of API-linked data systems, including reporting functionality connected to the mobile application.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance and customer reporting obligations.
