Job summary

Itchyfeet is seeking a Data Quality Analyst to join a Isle of Man–based financial services team. The role focuses on guarding data integrity, applying governance principles, and ensuring business rules for data capture and use are followed across domains.

You will collaborate with Data Stewards and stakeholders to uphold data quality standards, supporting governance processes and continuous improvement in data management capabilities.

Qualifications

• First Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• 3-4 years of experience in Data & Analytics.
• Proven data management experience with a strong understanding of data quality principles, particularly in financial services.
• Familiarity with systems and data principles relevant to data quality management.
• Project management experience and exposure to governance and regulatory matters as they relate to data.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Enforce governance principles and policies for data quality.
• Escalate violations of data element governance.
• Support IT Production change governance requirements.
• Apply data standards and business rules for capture and usage with Data Stewards.
• Identify critical data elements with Data Stewards/Data Managers to ensure business rules for data quality are signed off.
• Ensure regular data extraction and profiling for the customer domain to inform data quality levels.
• Profile large volumes of data from various source systems to ensure consistency and quality.
