A leading company in the financial services sector is seeking a Data Quality Analyst to enhance their data landscape and assure data quality across the organization. This remote role involves collaboration with multiple teams, implementing data quality solutions, and complying with industry data governance standards. The Data Enablement Services includes Data Governance, Data Management, Customer Master, Data Confidentiality (working with Info Security), Data Quality Management, and Retention & Deletion as core components and service areas.
The Data Quality team is responsible for ensuring the right information is available to the right people at the right time, by making sure the quality of data is monitored and improved throughout our business. We proactively monitor key data sources to assess their accuracy and fitness for purpose, while managing data quality issues reported to us from our data community. We are also responsible for developing data quality rules, creating and managing business and data definitions and providing assurance over reports sent to regulators.
The Data Quality Analyst plays a pivotal role within the Data Enablement Services function, supporting multiple teams and capabilities. This role is essential in enabling confident and informed decision-making by enhancing our understanding of the data landscape and proactively managing data quality across the organisation.
The Data Quality Analyst supports the Senior Data Quality Analyst and the wider Data Enablement Services team through a range of activities, prioritising the delivery of the team’s work in order to provide the business with their data assurance needs. As a key member of the broader Data Enablement team, you will create an environment of collaboration, agility, innovation and ownership in support of the team and overall business ambitions.

Location
This is a remote role with a requirement to attend our Cardiff office around 12 times per year. This can sometimes be for a few days at a time.
