Gravitas Group in Lancashire is recruiting a Data Protection & Information Governance Manager on a permanent basis. The role is hybrid, combining hands-on UK GDPR, ICO guidance, information governance and compliance tasks with a senior lead who holds the DPO responsibility.

The post focuses on DSARs, ROPA, DPIA/DSA registers, data breach support, training on transparency and FOI-style requests, and maintaining up-to-date policies and procedures during a major technology change.

Responsabilités

• Managing DSARs end-to-end (including redactions/exemptions) and meeting statutory deadlines
• Owning/maintaining ROPA, DPIA and DSA registers
• Supporting data breach investigations and escalation/reporting
• Delivering training/awareness and advising on transparency/FOI-style requests (e.g., STAIRS)
• Keeping policies/procedures current and well-governed

Data Protection & Information Governance Manager (Hybrid) - Lancashire - up to £46,000

I'm working with a tenant-focused housing organisation in Lancashire who are looking to hire a Data Protection & Information Governance Manager on a permanent basis.

This role can be a step up opportunity for someone operating at an Officer level, with the will & want to progress their career.

This is a genuinely hands-on role covering UK GDPR / ICO guidance, information governance, and wider compliance activity-working closely with a senior lead who holds the DPO responsibility.

Key focus areas:

• Managing DSARs end-to-end (including redactions/exemptions) and staying on top of statutory deadlines
• Owning/maintaining ROPA, DPIA and DSA registers
• Supporting data breach investigations and escalation/reporting where required
• Delivering training/awareness and advising on transparency/FOI-style requests (e.g., STAIRS)
• Keeping policies/procedures current and well-governed

This is a brand new role which has formed at an exciting time. The organisation is going through a big technology change, which will see the implementation of redacting software & new case management system.
