Job summary

Leigh Academies Trust is hiring a GDPR Safeguarding Manager to drive proactive data assurance across academies. You will oversee central case coordination, register management, and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with UK GDPR, DPA 2018 and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.

Role requires strong data protection knowledge, SARs management, and willingness to travel between Trust academies. Hybrid working is available; office based at Head Office.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of UK data protection legislation (UK GDPR, DPA 2018, Data (Use and Access) Act 2025).
• Proven experience managing SARs, data breaches, and processing registers.
• Exceptional attention to detail, auditing skills, and clear communication.
• Willingness to travel across Trust academies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee central case coordination across Leigh Academies Trust.
• Manage data access and processing registers for compliance.
• Lead quality assurance across all academies and audits.
• Ensure strict compliance with UK GDPR, DPA 2018 and Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.
