Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Are you customer focused and keen to work within the Data Privacy team?

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Protection Analyst to join our Data Privacy team based either at Wembley or Basingstoke.

This is a full time permanent role, working 2 days per week in the office.

About the Role

As a Data Protection Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for data subjects, playing an important role in ensuring Sovereign Network Group complies with relevant data protection legislation, including GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. You will support the Data Subject Rights Manager and Head of Data Privacy – Data Protection Officer (DPO) in working with regulatory bodies such as the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Key accountabilities:

• To coordinate and respond to data subject requests, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance under GDPR.
• Support the Data Subject Rights Manager and DPO in engaging with the ICO and other relevant authorities.
• Provide expert guidance to colleagues across SNG on data privacy matters and respond to data incident reports.
• Promote awareness and deliver refresher training on data privacy.
• Maintain internal registers and ensure policies and procedures are reviewed and followed.
• Monitor sector trends and regulatory developments to inform SNG's data protection strategy.

About You

We're looking for a proactive, detail–focused individual with:

• Excellent administrative, analytical, and organisational skills
• A focus on delivering excellent customer service
• Strong communication and influencing abilities
• Confidence in working independently and exercising sound judgment and discretion
• Proficiency in using Microsoft office applications
• An understanding of the GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 is desirable but not essential.
