Position Overview

Our client is searching for a junior Data Protection Officer where the applicant will report to the Group GC in an excellent role, with a significant increase in workload during recent times. Based in London, the role will involve working closely with the General Counsel and other members of the C-suite team.

Responsibilities

1. Work as a paralegal or NQ Lawyer across a variety of transactional and regulatory matters, including cross-border transactions, regulatory proceedings, and privacy and cybersecurity issues.
2. Create relevant privacy operational assets including DPIAs.
3. Advise employees on the obligation to comply with UK GDPR.
4. Handle cybersecurity compliance, incident response, and data privacy matters.
