Job summary

Intact Insurance UK is seeking a Data Programme Manager to lead the data workstream within the UK&I CIO Transformation, a strategic initiative to modernise our Commercial and Specialty Lines functions.

You will translate business challenges into data strategies, define scope, and drive delivery with an integrated plan across data initiatives, leveraging Azure, Databricks and Power BI. Hybrid working and strong backing from the organisation are available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large-scale data transformation programmes within CL or SL insurance domains.
• Translate complex business problems into structured data solutions and delivery plans.
• Deep understanding of modern data platforms and ecosystems (Azure, Databricks, Power Platform).
• Experience defining end-to-end data lifecycle (ingestion, transformation, storage, consumption).

Responsibilities

• Lead the data workstream for the CL/SL Transformation programme.
• Define programme scope, break down initiatives, and prioritise delivery based on value.
• Develop an integrated delivery plan and ensure incremental business value.
• Own the delivery plan, milestones, dependencies, risks, and critical paths.

The Data Program Manager will be responsible will lead the data workstream within the UK&I CIO Transformation, a strategic initiative to modernise and future-proof Intact’s Commercial Line/Specialty Line function.

You’ll Make An Impact By

• Strategic Leadership: Lead the data workstream for the CL/SL Transformation programme, translating business challenges into clear, outcome-driven data strategies aligned with transformation goals.
• Scope Definition & Prioritisation: Collaborate with the Transformation team to define programme scope, break down complex initiatives into manageable components, and prioritise delivery based on business value.
• Incremental Delivery Planning: Define data initiatives and develop a clear integrated delivery plan ensuring business value is delivered incrementally against the milestones and outcomes.
• Data Programme Management: Own and manage the delivery plan, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and critical path activities across all data initiatives

Your Skills And Experience

• Proven experience managing large-scale data transformation programmes, within Commercial Lines (CL), or Specialty Lines (SL) insurance domains.
• Strong ability to translate complex business problems into structured data solutions and delivery plans.
• Deep understanding of modern data platforms and ecosystems, including Azure, Databricks, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI).
• Experience defining end-to-end data lifecycle (ingestion, transformation, storage, consumption).
