Job summary

CI&T is seeking a Data Product Manager in the UK to own and evolve data-focused products, collaborating with Business, Application Engineers, Data Engineers and Data Scientists.

You will translate complex business needs into a prioritized product roadmap and translate requirements into actionable technical specs for engineering teams, driving value across data initiatives. This role requires strong SQL skills and experience in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Manager working with data products, BI/analytics products, data platforms or data infrastructure.
• Strong experience owning and managing a product roadmap.
• Ability to navigate complex business environments and turn ambiguous requirements into clear priorities and deliverable plans.
• Strong understanding of data ecosystems and application development.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional, non-functional and technical requirements.
• Hands-on SQL knowledge, with the ability to independently validate and explore data.
• Experience working directly with Application Engineers, Data Engineers and/or Data Scientists.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Own, define and continuously evolve the product roadmap for data products and initiatives.
• Understand complex business problems and translate them into clear product requirements and priorities.
• Deep dive into functional and non-functional requirements and help translate them into technical requirements for engineering teams.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders, Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Application Engineers.
• Prioritize initiatives based on business value, technical dependencies and product objectives.
• Work with engineering teams to ensure requirements are clear, feasible and aligned with the overall product strategy.
• Use data and SQL to independently investigate and validate information when needed.
• Manage different stakeholder expectations and create clarity in complex business environments.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams to support the continuous delivery and evolution of the product.
