Job summary

CI&T in the UK is seeking a Data Product Manager at the intersection of business, product, data and engineering, turning complex business needs into clear, actionable product direction. You will own data product roadmaps, collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Application Engineers, and translate requirements into technical specs for delivery within Agile teams.

This UK hybrid role requires hands-on SQL skills and a strong stakeholder-management mindset to navigate diverse needs

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Manager working with data products, BI/analytics products, data platforms or data infrastructure.
• Strong experience owning and managing a product roadmap.
• Ability to navigate complex business environments and turn multiple or ambiguous requirements into clear priorities and deliverable plans.
• Strong understanding of data ecosystems and application development.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional, non-functional and technical requirements.
• Hands-on SQL knowledge, with the ability to independently validate and explore data.
• Experience working directly with Application Engineers, Data Engineers and/or Data Scientists.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Own, define and continuously evolve the product roadmap for data products and initiatives.
• Understand complex business problems and translate them into clear product requirements and priorities.
• Deep dive into functional and non-functional requirements and help translate them into technical requirements for engineering teams.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders, Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Application Engineers.
• Prioritize initiatives based on business value, technical dependencies and product objectives.
• Work with engineering teams to ensure requirements are clear, feasible and aligned with the overall product strategy.
• Use data and SQL to independently investigate and validate information when needed.
• Manage different stakeholder expectations and create clarity in complex business environments.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams to support the continuous delivery and evolution of the product.
