This leading international retailer is looking to appoint a Regulatory Counsel to its UK business to provide wide-ranging legal support and advice to its group of high street brands.

About the Opportunity

As the lead regulatory lawyer for the UK business, you will manage regulatory matters relating to data privacy, marketing, competition, and consumer law, along with any other regulatory regimes the brands need to follow.

You will partner with the business and engage with a wide range of stakeholders, managing risk and supporting a culture of integrity.

About You

This is a varied position suited for an individual with data privacy experience who is interested in expanding into other regulatory areas within a consumer context. Opportunities include competition, litigation, and healthcare law. Experience in marketing or consumer law is advantageous but not essential, as these can be learned.

The role is within a large, complex international business, requiring someone who can navigate such complexities while fostering strong collaborative relationships across the organization. A focus on people—customers and colleagues—is essential.
