Sounds great, what will I be doing?
As our data privacy manager you’ll be the main point of contact for privacy compliance to support GWI’s consumer research collected in over 50 countries worldwide and sold through a variety of technology enabled products. This is a unique opportunity to shape privacy practices at a global scale while staying at the forefront of innovation.
As Data Privacy Manager you’ll be the main point of the contact for privacy compliance here at GWI. The successful candidate will drive the implementation of robust privacy processes, mitigate data breach risks, and help team legal develop a culture of accountability and transparency.

What do I need to bring with me?
You’ll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you’re willing to learn. Here’s what the team will be looking for:
In depth knowledge of relevant legislation including UK GDPR and GDPR and practical experience of their implementation in a business context.
Communication skills - you’ll need the ability to communicate with various stakeholders within the business and legal team. You’ll be providing lots of training so a passion for what you do is a must!
Problem solving mindset - we work in a complex and fast paced environment and we are looking for someone who thrives on analysing legal scenarios, anticipating risks and helping come up with practical solutions.
Relevant certifications are highly desirable. CIPP/E or CIPP/US from IAPP.
