Job summary

Qualifications

Data Privacy & Digital Regulation Lawyer - 2.5-3.5 PQE | London

A leading international law firm is looking to hire a Data Privacy & Digital Regulation Lawyer (2.5–3.5 PQE) into its highly regarded London practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a UK-qualified lawyer to join a top-tier team advising major global businesses on complex and high-profile matters at the intersection of data, technology and regulation.

The successful lawyer will work closely with leading partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of advisory, transactional and regulatory matters, including:

• UK and EU data protection and privacy law, including GDPR
• Digital and emerging technology regulation
• AI regulation, governance and responsible deployment
• International data transfers and data strategy
• Privacy issues relating to new products, technologies and business models
• Cybersecurity and data breach matters
• Regulatory investigations and enforcement
• Data privacy and digital regulatory aspects of major corporate transactions

The ideal candidate will be:

• A qualified lawyer with approximately 2.5-3.5 years’ PQE
• Currently practising within data privacy, data protection and/or digital regulation
• Trained at, or currently working within, a leading City, international or highly regarded specialist law firm
• Technically strong, commercially minded and comfortable advising sophisticated clients
• Interested in developing expertise across fast-moving areas of digital regulation, including AI
