Job summary

Marley Risk Consultants Limited in Cheltenham is seeking a Data Protection Co-Ordinator to support the Data Protection Officer in meeting UK GDPR obligations. You will co-ordinate DSARs, maintain data protection records and registers, monitor deadlines and escalate urgent matters.

This is a hybrid role with a mix of office and home working. The role requires strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail and discretion handling sensitive information to help sustain privacy

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
• Experience supporting DSARs and managing responses.
• Experience handling confidential information securely.
• Experience handling data breaches and DPIAs.
• Experience using Microsoft 365 or similar systems.
• Ability to work to statutory deadlines and independently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Data Subject Access Requests and maintain audit trails.
• Log, track deadlines and escalate urgent matters to the DPO.
• Maintain DPIA and records of processing activities logs.
• Support data protection inbox management and information gathering.
• Assist with DPIAs and incident handling.
