The role..
ITV's lively and forward-thinking Data Privacy team is looking for a Data Privacy Compliance Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. Working with the Global Data Privacy Programme Manager, you'll play a key role in the delivery of our global privacy operations-helping to protect the personal data of millions while driving innovation and efficiency across the business.
This is a superb opportunity to work at the heart of ITV's data compliance programme, supporting operational processes, leading on core privacy tooling, and collaborating across teams to deliver smart, forward-looking privacy solutions.
Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Handling data subject requests and associated platforms (e.g. OneTrust, Consilio)
- Supporting incident management and breach reporting processes
- Providing expert input on strategic projects and regulatory topics
- Delivering accurate privacy compliance reporting for senior leadership
- Maintaining and improving privacy tools and registers (e.g. RoPAs, LIAs, DPIAs)
- Driving process improvement and technical solutions to support operational efficiency
- Collaborating with internal teams and vendors to support data mapping
- Driving compliance monitoring, testing, and audit activities
- Assisting in privacy training and communications across ITV
- Leading or chipping in to special projects including AI and new technologies
- Acting as delegate for the Global Data Privacy Programme Manager and UK Data Protection Officer when required
- Supervising junior team members where required
- Participating in forums and multi-functional initiatives
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
- Must have previous experience working in a Data Privacy environment having worked on subject access requests and personal data breaches
- Demonstrable experience in establishing and leading compliance or operational programmes is essential
- Good understanding of data protection laws, including how industry practices and public attitudes towards data use are evolving
- A legal qualification would be advantageous

- Analytical and problem-solving mentality, with a fact-based, thoughtful approach
- Committed to continuous learning through research, training, or further qualifications
