This role is within our Data Governance team, currently consisting of the Head of Data Governance and the Data Privacy Manager, to whom you will report directly. You will primarily support the Data Privacy Manager, with the expectation to support the Head of Data Governance approximately one day per week.
The team is the first point of contact for data protection queries and data management/governance questions across the business. Recently, the team expanded due to the implementation of a data governance system and governance changes that require data protection review, risk assessment, and approval for all changes involving personal data. Your responsibilities will include due diligence for suppliers, assisting with data protection issues in customer service, and maintaining compliance with data protection requirements such as DPIA reviews, RoPA guidance, and training staff on data protection responsibilities.
Flexible working
At Zopa, we value flexible working. Our teams operate in a hybrid manner, combining time in our UK offices with remote work, and can work from abroad for up to 120 days a year, subject to legal eligibility. We provide the necessary support to ensure you thrive both professionally and personally from day one.
