We are seeking a Data Privacy Analyst to join our growing global team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career, preferably with a background in IT or data management, and a strong interest in data protection. Candidates should have some understanding of data protection laws and a desire to apply this knowledge practically.

The role involves supporting our Global Data Privacy function in protecting personal data and ensuring compliance with international data protection regulations.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to and support the maintenance of a Data Privacy Framework across the group (UK, Europe, and APAC).
• Maintain procedures for responding to Subject Access Requests (SARs).
• Manage procedures for data erasure requests and the right to be forgotten.
• Assist in maintaining personal data inventories (ROPA) and data discovery processes.
• Build dashboards and generate reports on data privacy KPIs, such as breach trends and response times.
• Support internal awareness campaigns, newsletters, and training to enhance data privacy understanding.
• Engage in personal and professional development to stay current with regulatory and legislative changes.
• Ensure high-quality, professional, and confidential service when dealing with customers, clients, or colleagues.
• Undertake additional duties, training, or hours as required, consistent with the role's responsibilities.
• Support due diligence and manage third-party risks, including reviewing contracts and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
• Maintain internal data privacy policies and notices for the Group.
• Assist in training and awareness programs to promote policy compliance.
• Collaborate with IT and Security teams to monitor and manage privacy incidents or breaches.
