Job summary

Emeria UK, operating in residential real estate services, seeks a Data Platform Manager to lead the data platform team and implement next-generation capabilities. This role reports to the Head of Data & Analytics and will help apply UK standards while delivering practical expertise for scalable data foundations.

You will own platform delivery, governance alignment and collaboration with senior stakeholders to produce trusted data assets, analytics engineering outputs and reusable data products

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering or modern data platform teams.
• Experience contributing to shared architecture standards and engineering patterns.
• Experience implementing & managing data warehouse, lakehouse or medallion architecture patterns.
• Experience working effectively with senior stakeholders, Enterprise Architecture, governance functions and specialist technology teams.
• Relevant degree, professional qualification or equivalent practical experience in data/technology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ingestion, transformation, orchestration, modelling and lifecycle management across the data platform.
• Implement medallion architecture that supports trusted, reusable data assets.
• Establish engineering practices for version control, automated testing, deployment and operations.
• Lead analytics engineering practices and data products for consuming teams.
• Lead, coach and develop a cross-functional Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering team.
• Plan team capacity and support recruitment and succession planning.
• Own delivery planning, prioritisation and integration with governance capabilities.
