Job summary

Warner Hotels is seeking a Software Engineer (Data) to join our modern data platform. You will build and maintain ingestion pipelines from source systems into Snowflake, implement dbt models, and ensure data quality for trusted analytics.

You will work in a squad with the Data Tech Lead and offshore partners, delivering on our data engineering roadmap and enabling Power BI/Tableau reporting across the business.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in software engineering roles with front-end and back-end experience.
• Hands-on production experience with React/Next.js.
• Hands-on experience with .NET Core/.NET 5+ and C#; .NET 8 preferred.
• Experience building microservices on AWS (Lambda/ECS/Fargate).
• RESTful API design in a microservices architecture.
• Experience in agile sprint teams and collaboration with nearshore/offshore partners.
• Consumer-facing product experience in hospitality/travel/retail is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data ingestion pipelines into Snowflake using HVR and dbt.
• Develop and maintain dbt transformation models across the data warehouse.
• Build ELT/ETL pipelines using Python and AWS services.
• Define data quality tests within dbt and maintain data lineage.
• Support the Customer Foundation Model and AI dashboards for real-time insight.
• Write well-tested, version-controlled code following dbt/SQL standards.
• Collaborate in sprint ceremonies and review offshore partner deliverables.
