Job summary

Lendable is building one of the world’s leading fintech platforms in the UK. As a Data Platform Engineer, you’ll own parts of the data stack, working with Python, SQL and a broad modern tech stack to enable fast, reliable analytics across the business.

You’ll collaborate with product, analytics and engineering teams across AWS and Snowflake, with a focus on scalable, cost-aware solutions. Flexible hybrid roles are offered with opportunities for in-person collaboration.

Qualifications

• Solid programming ability with Python or similar.
• Strong experience with Snowflake or similar warehouses.
• Good understanding of software engineering patterns and architectures.
• Experience building data-intensive systems.
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred).
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform ideally).
• CI/CD best practices.
• Familiarity with modern data architectures (Lambda/Kappa).

Responsibilities

• Tackle complex data platform challenges and own areas of the problem.
• Collaborate with product, analytics and engineering teams with high autonomy.
• Deliver pragmatic, scalable data solutions focusing on reliability, cost, and security.
• Enable fast, iterative analytics moving from idea to insight quickly.
