Qualifications

• Extensive experience with AWS Cloud and AWS services.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

• Experience with SageMaker and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Knowledge of MLOps environments.

Job Description:

Oliver Bernard is currently working with a consultancy client seeking an experienced Data Platform / DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in SageMaker in AWS, for a data and machine learning-focused project.

The candidate will work within a cross-functional team comprising Platform Engineers, Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Data Scientists, so prior collaboration with such teams is essential.

Requirements include:

• Extensive experience with AWS Cloud and AWS services
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins)
• Experience working with SageMaker and Jupyter Notebooks in project-focused environments
• Knowledge of and experience in MLOps environments

This role offers £600-700 per day, inside IR35, initially for a 3-month contract, with remote work available for UK-based candidates.
