A consultancy client of Oliver Bernard is seeking an experienced Data Platform Engineer for a Data/ML-focused project. This role will involve extensive collaboration with Platform Engineers, Data Engineers, and Machine Learning Engineers. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in AWS, Terraform, CI/CD processes, and MLOps, with roles offering a competitive daily rate of £600-700 for the initial 3-month contract.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with AWS Cloud and services.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins).
• Practical experience with SageMaker and Jupyter Notebooks is critical.
• Knowledge of and experience working in MLOps environments.

Responsibilities

Oliver Bernard is currently working with a consultancy client seeking an experienced Data Platform / DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in SageMaker on AWS for a Data / ML-focused project.

The candidate will work in a cross-functional team including Platform Engineers, Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Data Scientists, so prior collaboration with these teams is essential.

Requirements include:

• Extensive experience with AWS Cloud and AWS services
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins)
• Practical experience with SageMaker and Jupyter Notebooks is critical

This role offers £600-700 per day, inside IR35, for an initial 3-month contract, with remote working available for UK-based candidates only.
