Oliver Bernard is currently working with a consultancy client who is looking for an experienced Data Platform / DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in SageMaker on AWS, for a Data/ML-focused project.

The role involves working within a cross-functional team comprising Platform Engineers, Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Data Scientists, so prior collaboration with such teams is essential.

Requirements for consideration include:

• Extensive experience with AWS Cloud and AWS Services
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins)
• Hands-on experience with SageMaker and Jupyter Notebooks in project settings
• Knowledge of and experience working in MLOps environments

This position offers £600-700 per day, inside IR35, initially for a 3-month contract, with a remote working model available for UK-based candidates only.
