Job summary

Orbis is modernising its data and AI platform, seeking a Data Business Analyst to bridge business needs with data products across Investment, Operations and Client pillars. You will own discovery and scoping, translate requirements into actionable data specifications, and support agile delivery in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will engage data owners, define scope, ensure data quality and governance, and drive adoption of new data capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst delivering data or tech projects.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear data requirements.
• Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Engage data owners to understand business needs and capture requirements.
• Translate needs into data contracts, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Define project scope, sequencing and trade-offs for delivery.
• Support testing, validation and user acceptance of data and tools.
• Drive adoption of new data capabilities with documentation and training.
