Job summary

Opencast is a growing tech consultancy that delivers user-centered data solutions. As a Data Analyst, you will turn complex data into actionable insights, build performance frameworks, and guide projects from measurement concept to delivery.

You will mentor colleagues, ensure compliance with policies, and work across government, healthcare, and purpose-driven sectors. Regular on-site work with flexible hours supports client commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering digital services for the UK government.
• Familiarity with the GDS toolkit.
• Eligible for UK Security Check (SC) clearance.
• UK citizenship and five years' continuous residence with limited absences.
• Analytical skills to identify data sources and interpret results.
• Experience creating hypotheses and testing insights.
• Knowledge of security and data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Turn data into insights to guide client decisions.
• Develop performance measurement frameworks to track goals, user needs, or KPIs.
• Mentor junior colleagues and promote Opencast’s approach.
• Ensure work complies with policies, standards and client requirements.
• Work on client sites and internal hubs to collect and interpret data.
